Swords in the Park

We regularly meet (weather permitting) at Meadow Park in San Luis Obispo every Saturday and Sunday at 9am-11am. These are informal meetups where we work on drills, sparring, or whatever we feel like that day. This is a great way to meet us and see what we do without any commitment. Look for us at the picnic table near the creek down from the restrooms/playground or at the horseshoe pits near the parking lot. It’s hard to miss a bunch of folks swinging swords!

Events

Members of Blackfriar’s regularly attend and compete at regional HEMA events. These events are a great way to test your skills and learn from some of the best instructors around the country.
